Description
Oil Only hydrophobic polypropylene absorbent socks made by non wowen row material. It may be used for instance, as a barrier preventing and limiting oil and other hydrocarbon derivatives or lubricant spills, in different types of industries. Can be used on water and solid surfaces both.

The use of a non wowen textile (polypropylene) row material hydrophobic (oil-selective) Oil Only socks are ideal minor leaks and absorbing of motor fuels or lubricating oils, waste oils and other hydrocarbon derivatives.
Can be used on water and solid surfaces both to absorb any oil or hydrocarbon derivative spills. Perfect for placing around leaking machines in machine rooms, dockyards, etc. to stop leakage. Can be used in machinery houses, stocks for all types of machine equipment as an absorbent for fencing off accidental or continuous leakage. Oil Only hydrophobic polypropylene absorbent socks can be used for prevention of spill and to fence off spill in depot or other storage space, where drum packages are used. Thanks to its hydrophobic (oil-selective) properties, the product is also excellent for outdoor use, as it does not absorb water.
Waste handling
The used polypropylene absorbents may be completely incinerated, but after absorption of hazardous liquids, the national or regional regulations may not allow such handling. Always contact the local authorities for advice and recommended actions.
