Details
Diamix Siterra is a hydrophobic absorbent with a high selective capacity to absorb hydrocarbons and other liquids. Siterra is a natural, high quality, granulated mineral product of reddish colour with a very high absorbent capacity. Siterra is based on diatomaceous earth and consists of tiny, opalescent folds of ancient diatomite algae. Siterra is chemically neutral, non-combustible and non-toxic. Siterra removes oil, fuels and lubricants as well as flammable, explosive, toxic and other pollutant materials (any acids, alcalines, solvents etc.) from solid surfaces, agricultural areas, still water surface and in areas where there is high humidity and precitipation. Saturated absorbent prevents desorption and floats within 48 hours Packaging: Absorbent can be supplied in polypropylene bags of 10 kg and 20 kg, 10 kg of plastic buckets at request big-bags of 400 kg.

Waste handling
Diamix can be disposed as bulky waste but after absorption of hazardous liquids shall be deposited as directed by the local environmental authorities. EWC code of the used products are: 15 02 02
